No...because the cards released after the 8800 are crap compared to the 8800. (They are rebranded and re-named "older" cards.)
If you have the cash, the HD4870x2 is the best card on the market right now. But, if you have a nVidia chipset on your mobo, the 8800 GTS is the (current) best *reliable* card for you.
Just make sure you update your drivers as soon as possible.
