How do I transfer photos from my Blackberry Tour to my PC?
I have taken loads of pics on my new blackberry, and I have no idea how to transfer them onto my computer (Dell PC). Can someone please tell me how? I have a 2GB micro SD in my blackberry. Thanks!
Answer:
I prefer using the Blackberry desktop manager. This gives a bit more control and you can move files back and forth without any hassle.
Follow the below steps to use Blackberry Desktop manager:
-Download the latest version of the Blackberry desktop manager from RIM https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads/browseSoftware.do;jsessionid=0A4fD2NSqPt4nUzVShKkkQ**
Download "Desktop Manager 5.0.0 B28 English - With Media Manager" This will include Roxio Media Manager
-Connect the Blackberry to the computer by the mini USB cable (has a normal USB port on one end and a mini one to connect to the Blackberry)
-Start the Blackberry Desktop manager
-You will be prompted to type in the unlock password in order to fully connect
-Click on media
-Under the bottom view in my Devices will be your Blackberry photos. Drag these photos to the top area of the window labeled My Media or choose any location on your hard drive in the folder list under My Media
