Compared with stationary computers, notebooks have the disadvantage that due to the small notebook hard drive only limited space is available. i5 is middle of the road cpu. monitor matters not. 4gigs of ram should be enough unless gamer. mb asus one of the best. everything thing else is options. it's the load you put on a system rather then use for a new system
